EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENCE
THERAPY OR COACHING
When to engage a Therapist?
Therapy aims to address psychological issues, emotional distress, and mental health concerns. It often involves exploring past experiences, traumas, and deep-rooted emotions to promote healing and personal growth. Therapy sessions can also be future focussed, helping you identify personal aims and provide support on the way to reaching them.
Therapy is provided by licensed therapists or counsellors and utilises evidence-based techniques to help people better manage their mental health and emotions.
When to engage a Coach?
Coaching, on the other hand, is a goal-oriented approach focused on enhancing performance, developing skills, and achieving specific objectives. Coaches provide support, guidance, and accountability to help individuals identify strengths, set actionable goals, create strategies, and overcome obstacles.
Coaching is commonly sought by individuals who desire improvement in specific areas of their lives.
HOW TO BOOK A SESSION...
Please follow these steps to make a booking with a therapist or coach:
1 - Identify whether you'd like to speak to a therapist or coach - browse the profiles below, read the bios and areas of expertise for each of our therapists and coaches, or watch the video introduction to ascertain who will be the best fit. You have 8 credits available to exchange for therapy and coaching sessions. Please note, a 50 minute therapy session is 1 credit, a 30 minute coaching session is 1 credit, and a 60 minute coaching session is 2 credits.
2 - Find a session with your chosen therapist/coach by clicking their availability button. If you book using your work email address, please be aware that the calendar invites for your sessions are automatically generated and default to a public setting. This means that you will have to manually change the event privacy setting to PRIVATE or use your PERSONAL email address when booking sessions.
3 - Make sure you have your payroll number ready when booking, which you can find on your payslip or by logging into Dayforce, going to your profile page and looking for 'employee number'. This is only used by That Day to ensure each person has access to the right amount of sessions. If you cannot locate your payroll number, please submit a FreshService ticket to the People Team.
Depending on what you feel you'd like help with, we should have a therapist or coach within our diverse team to help you

Betul
Integrative Therapist
I am a BACP registered Therapist with a BA(Hons) Counselling Psychology degree and I have 12 years and 5000+ hours of clinical experience.
Many of us are fiercely independent and also overworked, exhausted, resentful and isolated. But you don’t have to wait until you’re at your breaking point before you ask for help or support.
The thought of sharing our personal feelings & experiences with a stranger is scary. But -with the right therapist- it can be the most rewarding thing you ever do. It creates room for growth, room for you to release built up emotion and more. Therapy works when you feel safe, supported and are given the tools to create a life you want to live. As a therapist, I create a safe space for you to express yourself. Simply, listening without judgment helps individuals feel heard & seen.

Diana
Integrative Therapist
For many years I have worked in the City of London in a corporate and high-pressured environment, I have an understanding of how the challenges of working in the city or just managing everyday modern life like the pressures of social media and a polarised and at times toxic culture can sometimes trigger addictive behaviours, anxiety or depression.
My experience of seeing people get better when they learn to see themselves and their world differently gives me great joy and satisfaction, I see how shifts happens in the lives of my clients. This is a gradual process which I give full attention and dedication by providing a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where work can then begin by looking in depth at the needs of my client’s life difficulties and take the necessary steps towards the healing of emotional, mental, and existential disease.

FAQs
What IS my THERAPY AND COACHING ALLOWANCE?
Everyone based in the UK and Netherlands has 8 credits to use for therapy and coaching sessions. Your credit allowance renewed on September 1st 2024 and will renew again on January 1st 2025 for the new financial year.
Can I book therapy AND coaching sessions??
You can use your 8 credits against therapy, coaching or a mix of both. We would recommend you take a look at the section above that explains the difference between each, so that you get the best out of your 8 free credits.
How long do the sessions take?
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes, and coaching sessions last 30 minutes. If you would like a 60 minute coaching session, which is advised for the first session with a new coach, you can book two 30 minute slots back to back.
HOW DO I MAKE A BOOKING?
You can access a session with one of the therapists or coaches by clicking the ‘See Availability’ button under your chosen therapist or coach. You can watch a video and read their bio to find out the ways they might be able to support you.
What happens once I use all my credits but want more sessions?
If you need or want more than 8 sessions, you can purchase these yourself.
If you feel you are benefitting at work from these sessions, you can also speak to your line manager or a member of the People Team about the possibility of getting some additional sessions signed off by K+C.
What happens IF I CANCEL A SESSION?
You have to provide 48 hours notice if you want to cancel or rearrange your session, or your session will be deducted from your allowance.
If there are extenuating circumstances, there may be some more flexibility to this. Always notify your therapist / coach in the first instance if you cannot make your session and then submit a FreshService ticket to the People Team if you would like to request your credit back.
ARE MY SESSIONS confidential?
Therapists and coaches are obliged to protect confidentiality and will only ever reach out to K+C if they feel that someone is at risk of hurting themselves or others - this will only ever be to the People Team.
All sessions are private, the only way anyone is identified is using a unique ID code, which is your payroll number. This is just used between the therapists and us for invoicing purposes.
WHAT IS MY UNIQUE ID CODE?
This is your payroll number which can be found either on a recent payslip or by logging into Dayforce and going to your profile page. If you are struggling to locate this, submit a FreshService ticket to the People Team.
When are the therapists and coaches available?
Although this is a corporate coaching and therapy service, the team is not just available during traditional working hours (9-5). In order to work around your schedules, therapists and coaches have very flexible availability outside normal working hours as well. Find out by looking at their individual availability.
